Bad day

So blogging is officially my new place to vent too. Sorry ppl! Just got a call asking if Jake had put fuel in his truck at Stage Stop in the last week cuz the fuel trucker put Unleaded in the Diesel tank. Lovely. We put $70 in yesterday morning. No wonder why our truck refused to start at Home Depot yesterday. Now we are in the process of having our truck towed to kemptons and getting the tanks and fuel lines flushed all expenses paid by stage stop (thank god). What a mess!

Recent Update

Alot has changed in the last year and half since blogging...but now that I sit to type it my mind thinks of nothing..lol. Jaxon is 6 years old and in Kindergarten. He LOVES going to school! more than I love him going to school anyways. I am having a hard time adapting to being on such a tight schedule. I have been so used to doing what I want, when I want, that I had no idea how much it was all going to change. I am hoping by Christmas we are all fully adapted and better than we are now. Jaxon has been doing really good in school and learning lots. I had parent-teacher conference last week and all went ok. I say ok because he had just gotten his name on the board that weeek for putting rocks in his pocket while on the playground..taking them into the classroom and flicking them at other students. Really? what made him think of that? needless to say I was not happy and his dad??..well, we will not talk about that:). Other than that he is flying through learning to read and everything else the state requires kindergartener's to learn these days. Jaxon is also playing PAL football for the first year. It has been so fun! I originally thought it was going to be pretty pathetic.. I mean how can a 5 year old learn to play a full football game? but I was shocked to see how good these little kids are. Jaxon ALMOST scored his first touchdown yesterday... I was jumping out of my seat! So proud!His coach has told us nothing but good and brags about what a good athlete he is going to be:) Now lets get to Emmet. He just turned 4 and is by far my craziest kid so far. He definitely keeps me on feet! He took Jaxon starting school pretty hard (I figured he would). He still tells Jax every morning "bye Jax, I'll miss you".. It is sooo cute and sad at the same time. Him and Harlee on the other hand have bonded and become quite close. Emmet is still small for his age, but has caught up to Jaxon. They are in the exact pant, shirt and shoe size, which makes it easy for me. Not much is knew with Emmet other than he keeps life interesting... I'll leave it at that:) Harlee was just a newborn when posted last. She is 16 months, but still mommy's little baby:). She is definitely a momma's girl, but has some moments with daddy too. Jake is still adjusting to having a daughter, but wouldn't change a thing..I can tell already that she is his eyes so she better be a good girl:). She is such a good eater and keeps up well with her brothers. (still trying to break her from the bottle tho...ok who am i kidding, havent really tried, i think Im hoping she will just put it down one day and not want it again..is that even possible?) Jake and I are both doing good. He just finished a semester at Penn Foster to try and finish his degree (so proud of him) and I...well I havent yet decided when I will go back to school and If I even still want to pursue my nursing degree. I dont even like thinking about it so I know I am not ready yet. I am busy enough just being a mom and wife.

BACK to blogging

I was reading back on blog posts and really started to miss having moments in my life written down somewhere. Many posts brought so many smiles to my face that I really want to continue with what I started. Here's to blogging once again! :)

Mother's Day

I had a really good Mother's day, the hubby always does too much, and tries to make sure I just get a break. The Saturday before I got to spend the day Shopping in Tucson, eating at Olive Garden, and just a little girls getaway with my MIL and Jake's Cousin.
On Mother's Day I really wanted a decent picture of my kiddos and I, but it isn't usually just that easy. Emmet was just mad, Jaxon did ok but was bribed, and Harlee was just there cuz she can't run yet...someday I am going to have a really good picture, but not in the near future!
